Jefferson School app for iPhone and iPad
This self-guided walking tour application allows users to interact with the lived environment of Charlottesvilles historic African American community. The tour takes users beyond the exhibition Pride Overcomes Prejudice and highlights sites, individuals, events that figure prominently in this story. As urban renewal has erased many sites related to African American history, the tour will provide a vivid picture of this of this community whose social and educational center was the Jefferson School.
